Dear Everyone,

I would like to light a spark of positivity, energy and hope in each of you.
The current situation is hard for everyone and I am sure you already had enough of Covid news for the day …
So I want to share with you motivating and inspiring words to keep you going.

Each of us has his own perception on the current context, the stakes, consequences, etc.
There are plenty of things out of our control, however the one that is in your control is: your response.

What’s happening currently is the perfect way to practice acceptance and learn how to respond in the best possible way to protect ourselves.

It requires self-awareness, personal commitment and application.

“Even with truth and reconciliation, though, we can’t control the world, which means that it will never be a perfect place. The only way to get anywhere is through the practice of acceptance” Susan David

The more you know yourself, the better you know your values, what’s important to you, your strengths, areas of improvement … It starts with self-awareness to identify your personal resources, which enable you to cope in difficult situations.

How do you want to respond to challenges of life?
What are the resources you can use to deal with problems?

Personal commitment

Once you know yourself, it is then up to you to decide what you want to do next. Whether you are committed to align yourself with your desires; whether you are willing to struggle and put in practice choices you make. It takes time to change (for all of us!), it is a learning journey with ups and downs, be kind with yourself instead of demanding too much too fast.

Putting decisions into practice is what will get you there. Find ways and actions to try out and repeat until you make it work. Applying is the translation into reality that will provide you with key feedback on what works, what does not, what requires adjustment. With an open mind, see these as wonderful opportunities to progress on a life-long journey.

2020, my personal test

Years ago, I made a conscious decision to change what I did not like in my life, to find alignment with my core self and my values. I had enough of stress and negativity when leaving in France. It took me a looooong time to transform, nothing happened magically in one night.

However, I consider this 2020 as the perfect test for changes I implemented a while ago. Funnily, my word for 2020 was “Alignment” and I feel this is exactly what is happening, I respond to this global situation with full alignment with my personal choices.

I detached from old and bad habits long ago, which are protecting me these days from all the stress we can absorb. I decided to see the bright side of events to maintain motivation on a daily basis instead of letting doubts break me into pieces. I chose to build growth mindset and appreciate challenges as tough as they can be to develop a comfortable self-confidence driving me for the rest of my life.

Change is a journey that starts with a decision

Years of change with progressive commitments and applications led me to be what I wished to reach a while ago: a peaceful mindset leveraging my resources to be a strong pillar of joy, positivism and energy, in extreme situations.

“The seed of every habit is a single tiny decision. But as that decision is repeated, a habit sprouts and grows” James Clear

Hoping that this inspires you to take time and choose where you want to go for the future and what you want to implement in your life to respond as you wish you would do.
